J WHITE LONDON is a holistic and unique approach to Yoga; integrating Yoga to energise, motivate and balance mind and body, Ayurvedic principles, Aromatherapy and Essential Oils to produce a physical, spiritual, emotional and mental sense of wellbeing leading to a happier and healthier life.

I have been practicing Yoga for many years and am a fully qualified and accredited Yoga Teacher and a member of the BWY and Yoga Alliance. I have trained with Manju Pattabhi Jois, Shiva Rea, Swami Saradananda, Anne-Marie Newland, Lyn Core, Gurmukh, Maya Fiennes, Lara Bauman and Tara Fraser. I continue to study and learn from various different teachers. I teach a Vinyasa style of yoga with the emphasis on breath controlled movement. I incorporate Hatha Yoga, Astanga Yoga, Kundalini Yoga, Ayurveda, Aromatherapy and Anatomy and Physiology of the asanas to create a practice that awakens the mind body and spirit and brings emotional stability and clarity of mind.

I first became interested in Alternative treatments as a way to treat my Rheumatoid Arthritis and Eczema; they proved very effective, and so began my journey learning more about how to treat myself using natural remedies and how a healthy diet and lifestyle can help. I developed Asthma much later on and now work with Asthma UK as a Research and Policy adviser. I use Yoga and Pranayama to help with my Asthma and breathing and have found this to work amazingly well.

I studied Yoga, Aromatherapy and Holistic Massage in order for me to practice what I passionately believe in. I use a holistic approach; this treats the mind, body and soul; and so works on a much deeper level than conventional treatments.

I am a regular contributor to OM Yoga Magazine and write a monthly article on Yoga & Aromatherapy for the magazine so you can read and learn more about Aromatherapy. Here you can find all the Essential Oils that I write about so that you can experience them for yourself.

For the past several years I have been teaching classes at the Yoga Show in London and Manchester and in 2013 I was chosen to be an ambassador for the Spring into Summer Event at Westfield London with Adidas. I teach weekly Yoga classes in North and Central London. I also teach privately, one to one in London in the comfort and privacy of your home or office.

A unique combination of natural therapies I apply brings a complete sense of balance to the body, mind and spirit.
